ip pimsm dr-priority
The ip pimsm dr-priority command is used to set the priority value for which a router is elected
as the designated router (DR). Use the “no” form of this command to set the priority to the
default.
Syntax
ip pimsm dr-priority
priority
no ip pimsm dr-priority
priority
— The election priority (Range: 0–2147483647).
Default Configuration
The default election priority is 1.

console(config-if-vlan3)#ip pimsm dr-priority 12
ip pimsm hello-interval
The ip pimsm hello-interval command is used to configure the PIM-SM Hello Interval for the
specified interface. Use the “no” form of this command to set the hello interval to the default.
This command deprecates the ip pimsm query-interval command.
Syntax
ip pimsm hello-interval
interval
no ip pimsm hello-interval
interval
— The hello interval (Range: 0–65535 seconds).
Default Configuration
The default hello interval is 30 seconds.
