1.11 A wide variety of optional system equipment can also be installed, including:
• Optional Call Processing (CP) Server (a Windows 2000- or 2003-based server that
communicates with the phone system via the ATM Switch or a 10Base-T Ethernet con-
nection via a cross-connect Ethernet cable to a CPU020 card with an Ethernet Adapter
Card (EAC). See Appendix C — CP Server.
NOTE: A CP Server running Windows 2000 is required for an ATM-based system.
• Multi-port Voice Processing PC and applications software for integrated voice process-
ing (voice mail, automated attendant, hunt group announcement and overflow, optional
Fax-On-Demand, SMDR storage, Record-A-Call, etc.) and Unified Messaging. See
page 2-104.
• The Embedded Voice Mail Card (EVMC) is an OS/2- or Linux-based voice mail card
that can be used to provide small systems with Voice Processing features, except Fax-
On-Demand, Unified Messaging, TTS, and ASR. See Appendix D — CPC64/CPU64

• Inside Track
®
station message detail accounting (SMDA) software and, if the Voice
Processing PC is not used, optional call record buffer such as a PollCat (Pollable Call
Accounting Terminal), CRB (Call Record Buffer), or ILB (In-Line Buffer). Refer to the
manual included with the Inside Track software.
