User Guidelines
IGMP snooping can be enabled only on static VLANs.
IGMPv1, IGMPv2, and IGMPv3 Snooping are supported.
To activate IGMP snooping, bridge multicast filtering must be enabled by the
bridge multicast filtering command.
The user guidelines of the bridge multicast mode command describes the
configuration that is written into the FDB as a function of the FDB mode and the
IGMP version that is used in the network.
Example
switchxxxxxx(config)# ip igmp snooping vlan 2

To enable automatic learning of Multicast router ports on a VLAN, use the ip igmp
snooping vlan mrouter command in Global Configuration mode. To remove the
configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping vlan
vlan-id mrouter learn pim-dvmrp
no ip igmp snooping vlan
vlan-id mrouter learn pim-dvmrp
