show ip pimsm interface
This command displays interface configuration parameters for PIM-SM on the specified interface.
If no interface is specified, all interfaces are displayed.
Example: The following shows example CLI display output for the command.

Next Bootstrap
Message In
Time (in hours, minutes, and seconds) in which the next bootstrap message is due from
this BSR.
Next Candidate
RP
advertisement in
Time (in hours, minutes, and seconds) in which the next candidate RP advertisement will
be sent.
Format show ip pimsm interface [<unit/slot/port>]

Term Definition
Interface Valid unit, slot, and port number separated by forward slashes.
IP Address The IP address of the specified interface.
Subnet Mask The Subnet Mask for the IP address of the PIM interface.
Hello Interval
(secs)
The frequency at which PIM hello messages are transmitted on this interface. By default,
the value is 30 seconds.
Join Prune
Interval (secs)
The join/prune interval for the PIM-SM router. The interval is in seconds.
Neighbor Count The neighbor count for the PIM-SM interface.
Designated
Router
The IP address of the Designated Router for this interface.
DR Priority The priority of the Designated Router.
BSR Border The bootstrap router border interface. Possible values are enabled or disabled.
