Step 4 Replace the number that occurs at the fifth and sixth
digits with the new device number. (i.e., get new ID
“0010111001” of “SLOT2 GBI02_STATE”) The ID is
expressed in hexadecimal notation. Thus, the user must
change the device number from decimal notation to
hexadecimal notation.
