2.6.7 DIFL applied to double circuit line with a fault (Fault current outflowing)
Figure 2.6-13 shows that a fault occurs in the line GJ; we can see an outflow current induced
by the fault on the line HK. At the station-A, we can find the outflow significantly when the
fault occurs in close proximately to the station-B. The degree of the outflow current depends
on the conditions of the power sources at the station-A and the station-B, but a half of the fault
current flows out to the line HK. Thereby, the user should have an attention for the DIFL
settings when the DIFL function is applied for the double-circuit lines.
