9.4.2.22 area virtual-link (OSPFv3)
This command creates the OSPF virtual interface for the specified <areaid> and <neighbor>.
The <neighborid> parameter is the Router ID of the neighbor.
Syntax
area <areaid> virtual-link <neighborid>
no area <areaid> virtual-link <neighborid>
<areaid> - Area ID.
<neighborid> - Router ID of the neighbor.
<no> - This command deletes the OSPF virtual interface from the given interface, identified
by <areaid> and <neighborid>. The <neighborid> parameter is the Router ID of the
neighbor.
Default Setting
The default authentication type is none.

9.4.2.23 area virtual-link dead-interval (OSPFv3)
This command configures the dead interval for the OSPF virtual interface on the virtual
interface identified by <areaid> and <neighborid>.
Syntax
area <areaid> virtual-link <neighborid> dead-interval <1-65535>
no area <areaid> virtual-link <neighborid> dead-interval
<areaid> - Area ID.
<neighborid> - Router ID of the neighbor.
<1-65535> - The range of the dead interval is 1 to 65535.
<no> - This command configures the default dead interval for the OSPF virtual interface on
the virtual interface identified by <areaid> and <neighbor>. The <neighbor> parameter is
the Router ID of the neighbor.
