11.2.1.3.5. HTTP Configuration
Configurable Data
HTTP Session Soft Timeout - This field is used to set the inactivity timeout for HTTP
sessions. The value must be in the range of (0 to 60) minutes. A value of zero
corresponds to an infinite timeout. The default value is 5 minutes. The currently
configured value is shown when the web page is displayed.
HTTP Session Hard Timeout - This field is used to set the hard timeout for HTTP
sessions. This timeout is unaffected by the activity level of the session. The value must
be in the range of (0 to 168) hours. A value of zero corresponds to an infinite timeout. The
default value is 24 hours. The currently configured value is shown when the web page is
displayed.
Maximum Number of HTTP Sessions - This field is used to set the maximum allowable
number of HTTP sessions. The value must be in the range of (0 to 16). The default value
is 16. The currently configured value is shown when the web page is displayed.
Command Buttons
Submit - Send the updated screen to the switch. Changes take effect on the switch but
these changes will not be retained across a power cycle unless a save is performed.
11.2.1.3.6. Configuring Telnet Session Page
Configurable Data
Telnet Session Timeout (minutes) - Specify how many minutes of inactivity should
occur on a telnet session before the session is logged off. You may enter any number
from 1 to 160. The factory default is 5.
Maximum Number of Telnet Sessions - Use the pulldown menu to select how many
simultaneous telnet sessions will be allowed. The maximum is 5, which is also the factory
default.
Allow New Telnet Sessions - If you set this to no, new telnet sessions will not be
allowed. The factory default is yes.
