5. Configure the following parameter(s) as required:
Parameter Description
Target Synopsis: The host type represents either an IP address or a DNS domain name.
Configures the ping target as an IPv4 address or hostname.domain.
Source IP Synopsis: The ip-address type represents an IP address and is IP version neutral.
The format of the textual representations implies the IP version.
Sets the source address to a specified IPv4 address.
Source Interface Forces a ping on a selected interface.
Timeout (ms) Determines how many milliseconds to wait for the ICMP response.
Interval (ms) Determines how many milliseconds to wait before sending another ICMP request.
Fall The number of times a failure occurs before changing the tracking state from up to
down.
