492 Adding a Neighbor

Adding a Neighbor
To add a neighbor for a RIP network, do the following:
1. Change the mode to Edit Private or Edit Exclusive.
2. Navigate to routing » dynamic » rip » network » neighbor and click <Add neighbor>. The Key Settings
form appears.

1. Neighbor IP Address Box 2. Add Button
3. Configure the following parameter(s) as required:
Parameter Description
Neighbor IP Address The IP address of the neighbor.
4. Click Add to add the address.
5. Click Commit to save the changes or click Revert All to abort. A confirmation dialog box appears. Click OK
to proceed.
6. Click Exit Transaction or continue making changes.

Deleting a Neighbor
To delete a neighbor from a RIP network, do the following:
1. Change the mode to Edit Private or Edit Exclusive.
2. Navigate to routing » dynamic » rip » network » neighbor. The Neighbor table appears.
