Trigger sequence
A complex trigger sequence joins two or more separate trigger conditions with an
optional delay time and an optional reset time or reset condition. Similar setups are
also known as multi-step trigger or A/B trigger.
Trigger information
Information on the most important trigger settings is shown in the trigger label on top of
the signal bar. If you double-tap the trigger label, the "Trigger" dialog box opens. The
label shows:
●
Trigger mode
●
Trigger type, edge/polarity and trigger source, for A- and B-trigger
●
Trigger level
If the trigger mode is normal, and no trigger has been found for longer than one sec-
ond, the trigger state is shown in the signal bar. The state indicates the waiting for trig-
ger time. For long timebases, it shows the remaining pretrigger time, and after the trig-
ger the time until the acquisition is completed.
