The file stream should contain the following information in the given order:

[string of 8 characters made up of "X"/"1"/"0"]

Number of samples

15.2.2 Pattern generator settings
Enable
Enables the waveform generator/ pattern generator and outputs the signal to the con-
nectors.

WGENerator<m>[:ENABle] on page 1923
PGENerator:ENABle on page 1936
Run mode
Selects the duration for which the signal of the generator will be output after the trigger
event. You can choose between a "Continuous" and "Single period" duration.

Bit rate
Sets the number of transmitted bits per second for the pattern generator.
Remote command:
PGENerator:BITRate on page 1936
High level
Sets the high level of the signal.
Remote command:
PGENerator:HLEVel on page 1937
Load pattern file
Opens a dialog for selecting an existing pattern file. It is possible to load .bin or .csv
files, see Chapter 15.2.1, "Content and format of the pattern generator files",
on page 945.
