Bit Field Value Description
0 POWERDOWN Power down. This bit is effective in LIN or SCI mode. When this bit is set, the SCI/LIN module
attempts to enter local low-power mode. If the POWERDOWN bit is set while the receiver is actively
receiving data and the wakeup interrupt is disabled, then the SCI/LIN will delay entering low-power
mode until the reception is completed. In LIN mode, you may set the POWERDOWN bit after
receiving a sleep command or on idle bus detection (more than 4 seconds). See Section 29.4 for
more information on low-power mode.
0 The SCI/LIN module is in normal operation.
1 The SCI/LIN module enters local low-power mode.
