With this command, you specify how long the assigned IPv4 address remains valid. When
half the period of validity has elapsed. the DHCP client can extend the period of the assigned
IPv4 address. When the entire time has elapsed, the DHCP client needs to request a new
IPv4 address.
You are in the DHCPPOOL configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-dhcp-pool-<ID>)#
Call up the command with the following parameters:
lease-time <seconds (60-31536000)>
The parameter has the following meaning:
Time until renewal of the assigned
60 ... 31536000
The time is configured.
You display the setting with the show ip dhcp-server pools command.
With this command you configure the IPv4 address band from which the DHCP client
receives any IPv4 address.
