You are in the OSPF Router configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-ospf)#
Call up the command with the following parameters:
router-id <router ip address>
The parameter has the following meaning:
IP address Enter the IP address of the router
or a value in the IP address for-
For information on names of addresses and interfaces, refer to the section "Interface
identifiers and addresses (Page 42)".
The ID of the router is specified.
You display the router ID and other information with the show ip ospf interface command.
summary-address
Description
With this command, you assign an area ID an address range. The address range is used to
group the external routes.
Note
This command is available only with layer 3.
● The router is an area border router (ABR)
● You are in the OSPF Router configuration mode.
