detect-threshold
Keyword for the threshold value

Specifies the threshold value after how
many received loop detection frames, a
loop is assumed and the device reacts
according to the setting.

reaction-timeout
Keyword for the time to the end of the
reaction time

seconds
Specifies the number of seconds after
which the device automatically chang-
es to the status in which it was before
the loop.
0 ... 86400
Default: 0
If you set the value "0", you need
to enable the port manually again
following a loop using the com-
mand loopd port reset.
If you do not select any parameters from the parameter list, the default value is used. The
default values apply only to a port enabled earlier with
loopd sender.
Result
The settings are suitably configured.

You can display the status of this function and other information with the show loopd
command.

loopd port reset
Description
With this command, you enable a port that was blocked by loop detection.
Requirement
Loop detection is enabled
You are in the Interface configuration mode.
The command prompt is:
cli(config-if-$$$)#
Syntax
Call the command without parameters:
loopd port reset
