Example
This example shows how to display password configuration settings. In this case, the settings
displayed are the default settings for Normal security mode. Table 5-2 describes the output fields.
See Table 5-1 on page 5-4 for a list of the default settings for both Normal and C2 security modes.

Number of previously used user login passwords that will be
checked
for duplication when the set password command is
executed. Range is from 0 to 10.
Configured with set system password history

Password aging Number of days user passwords will remain valid before aging out.
Valid values are a number of days in the range from 1 to 365 days,
or disabled.
Configured with set system password aging command.
Password minimum length The minimum length of user passwords. Configured with the set
system password length command.
Password minimum character
requirements:
Uppercase: 0
Lowercase: 0
Numeric: 0
Special: 0
The minimum number of characters of the specified type needed
in the password. The range for each type of character is 0 to 40,
with a default of 0.
