1.3.4 duplex port
Syntax
duplex port port-list { auto | half | full }

Parameter
port-list: Port list.
auto: Specifies to operate in automatic negotiation mode.
half: Specifies to operate in half duplex mode.
full: Specifies to operate in full duplex mode.
Description
Use the duplex port command to set whether or not an Ethernet switch port operates
in full duplex/half duplex mode.
A port operating in full duplex mode can send/receive packets while it is
receiving/sending packets. A port operating in half duplex mode can either receive or
send packets at a certain moment. If you set a port with the auto keyword, the port
negotiates with its peer to determine the mode it operates in.
Note that the 100M optical ports of an Ethernet switch are fixed to operate at a speed of
100Mbit/s and in full duplex mode.
Example
# Set the port 1 of the Ethernet switch with a position parameter of 3/1/3-/ to operate in
auto state.
