Parameter
seconds: Specifies the router port aging time, ranging from 1 to 1000 measured in
seconds; By default, it is 105.
Description
Use the igmp-snooping router-aging-time command to configure the router port
aging time of IGMP Snooping.
Use the undo igmp-snooping router-aging-time command to restore the default
value.
The port here refers to the Ethernet switch port connected to the multicast router. The
Layer-2 Ethernet switch receives general query packets from the router via this port.
The timer should be set to about 2.5 times of the general query period of the router.
