Description
Use the link-aggregation command to configure a series of ports to aggregation port.
Related command: link-aggregation group agg-id mode, port link-aggregation
group.
Note: When a port is added into an aggregation group, the original ARP information of
the port will be lost.
Example
# Configure to balance load for inbound and outbound packets.
<Quidway> system-view
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[Quidway] link-aggregation ethernet2/1/1 to ethernet2/1/2 both

link-aggregation group agg-id description alname
undo link-aggregation group agg-id description

Parameter
agg-id: Aggregation group ID, in the range of 1 to 920. IDs 1 though 31 indicate manual
or static aggregation groups; IDs 32 through 64 are reserved; IDs 65 though 192
indicate Routed Trunks; IDs 193 through 920 indicate dynamic aggregation groups.
alname: Aggregation group name, character string with 1 to 32 characters.
Description
Use the link-aggregation group agg-id description command to configure
description for an aggregation group.
Use the undo link-aggregation group agg-id description command to delete
aggregation group description.
Note that you cannot configure the description for a dynamic aggregation group.
Related command: display link-aggregation verbose.

# Configure myal1 as the description of aggregation group 22.
