31 Change password
31.1 Purpose
This chapter provides the procedure for a user to change their own password.
31.2 General
The system allows a user to change their own password. Only a user with system
administrator privileges can change another person’s user password.
Passwords must meet the following complexity parameters:
• Minimum Length - Password must be at least eight characters in length
• Maximum Length - Password must not exceed twenty characters in length
• Composition - Passwords must be composed of full ASCII characters (UPPER
case, lower case, numeric, and special characters).
