6.4.1 Position Counter Input Modes
Clock and direction input to the position counter is selected using QDECCTL[QSRC] bits, based on
interface input requirement as follows:
• Quadrature-count mode
• Direction-count mode
• UP-count mode
• DOWN-count mode
