22.8 ip pim component
This command configures the PIM component in the router and the no form of the command
destroys the PIM component.
ip pim component <ComponentId (1-255)>
no ip pim component <ComponentId (2-255)>

iss (config)# ip pim component 1
The PIM Component 1 cannot be deleted as it is the default component.
The PIM Component corresponds to each instance of a PIM domain and classifies it as
Sparse or Dense mode
