31.30 ipv6 ospf dead-interval
This command configures the router dead interval. It is configured in seconds and indicates the
time period for which the router waits for hello packet from the neighbor before declaring this
neighbor down. The no form of the command sets the interface dead interval to default value.
ipv6 ospf dead-interval <1-65535>
no ipv6 ospf dead-interval

SMIS(config-if)# ipv6 ospf dead-interval 50
This value must be a multiple of the Hello interval and must be same for all routers attached to a
common link.
