26.24 ip ospf transmit-delay
This command sets the estimated time it takes to transmit a link state update packet on the
interface and the no form of the command sets the default estimated time it takes to transmit a
link state update packet on the interface.
ip ospf transmit-delay <seconds (0 - 3600)>

SMIS(config-if)# ip ospf transmit-delay 50
Link-state advertisements (LSAs) in the update packet must have their ages incremented by the
amount specified in the seconds argument before transmission.
Related Commands
ip ospf hello-interval – Specifies the interval between hello packets sent on the
interface
ip ospf dead-interval – Sets the interval at which hello packets must not be seen before
neighbors declare the router down
ip ospf retransmit-interval – Specifies the time between link-state advertisement
(LSA) retransmissions for adjacencies belonging to the interface
