This command configures the Default IGP Metric value and the no form of the command resets
the Default IGP Metric value.

SMIS(config-router)# default-metric 300
This command sets the default metric to be associated with all redistributed routes. If a metric
value is not supplied, the default metric value is assigned as 0.
If the default metric value is 0, then the received route-metric is advertised. Any non-zero metric
value is used as the metric value for all the redistributed routes.
The metric of redistributed Local Routes is not affected by the default-metric value.
BGP Speaker Local AS number must be configured
