26.2 router-id
This command sets the router-id for the OSPF process.
router-id <router ip address>
Syntax Description
router ip address - Specifies the OSPF router ID as an IP address
Mode

Example
SMIS(config-router)# router-id 10.0.0.1
An arbitrary value for the ip-address for each router can be configured; however, each router ID
must be unique. To ensure uniqueness, the router-id must match with one of the router's IP
interface addresses.
