25.6 passive-interface vlan
This command suppresses routing updates on an interface. The no form of the command does
not suppress routing updates from an interface.
passive-interface vlan <vlan-id(1-4069)>
no passive-interface vlan <vlan-id(1-4069)>

SMIS(config-router)# passive-interface vlan 1
If the sending of routing updates is disabled on an interface, the particular subnet will continue to
be advertised to other interfaces, and updates from other routers on that interface continue to be
received and processed.
