ethoam association mhf
Modifies the MIP Half Function (MHF) value of an Ethernet OAM Maintenance Association.
ethoam association association_name domain {domain_name | mac_address} mhf {none | explicit |
default}
Syntax Definitions
association_name Name of the Ethernet OAM Association. Up to 48 (minus the domain
name length) characters may be used.
domain_name Specifies the domain name. For more information on the different
formats of the domain name, refer to ethoam domain command on
page 25-3.
mac_address Specifies the CFM system MAC address.
none Specifies that no MHFs can be created for the specified VLAN ID.
explicit Specifies that MHFs can be created for the specified VLAN ID only on
Bridge ports through which this VLAN ID can pass and only if a Main-
tenance End Point (MEP) is created at a lower MA level.
default Specifies that MHFs can be created on the specified VLAN ID on any
Bridge port through which this VLAN ID can pass.

Usage Guidelines
The association_name should be unique amid all those used by or available to the service provider within
a domain.
