show ethernet-service statistics
Displays Tri-Color Marking (TCM) results by showing the number of packets marked green, yellow, and
red. The color of the packet indicates the level of compliance with TCM rate limiting parameter values.
TCM parameters are configured and applied through SAP profiles.
show ethernet-service [service-name | sapid] statistics
Syntax Definitions
service-name The name of an existing VLAN Stacking service. Use quotes around
string if the service name contains multiple words with spaces between
them (e.g., “Alcatel-Lucent Engineering”).
sapid The SAP ID number identifying the service instance.
Defaults
By default, statistics are displayed for all services.
Platforms Supported
OmniSwitch 6250-Metro Models
Usage Guidelines
• The QoS TCM policer provides the statistics that are displayed with this command. As a result, the
interval at which statistics are taken for Ethernet services is the same interval used by QoS. For more
information, see the qos stats interval command.
• Note that if the ingress bandwidth configured for the SAP profile is shared, packet counts are not
displayed for the SAP ID or for any service associated with the SAP.
• Specify a service name with this command to display packet counts for a specific service.
• Specify a SAP ID with this command to display packet counts for a specific SAP.
• For more information about TCM, see the “Configuring QoS” chapter in the OmniSwitch 6250
Network Configuration Guide.
