ipv6 multicast-limit
Limit the number of multicast entries on the system.

ipv6 multicast-limit limit
Parameters
limit
Enter the desired maximum number of multicast entries on the
system. The range is 1 to 50000. The default is 15000.
Defaults 15000 routes

Usage
Information
The maximum number of multicast entries allowed on each line card is determined by the CAM
profile. Multicast routes are stored in the IN-V6-McastFib CAM region, which has a fixed
number of entries. Any limit configured using the CLI is superseded by this hardware limit. The
opposite is also true; the CAM might not be exhausted at the time the CLI-configured route limit
is reached.

Enable IPv6 multicast forwarding.

Syntax
ipv6 multicast-routing
To disable multicast forwarding, use the no ipv6 multicast-routing command.
Defaults Disabled.
