Configure an OSPF distance metric for different types of routes.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810
Syntax
distance ospf [external dist3] [inter-area dist2] [intra-area
dist1]
To delete these settings, use the no distance ospf command.
Parameters
external
dist3
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword external followed by a number to
specify a distance for external type 5 and 7 routes. The range is 1 to
255. The default is 110.
inter-area
dist2
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords inter-area followed by a number
to specify a distance metric for routes between areas. The range is 1
to 255. The default is
110.
intra-area
dist1
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords intra-area followed by a number
to specify a distance metric for all routes within an area. The range is
1 to 255. The default is 110.

Information
