Command Modes CONFIGURATION
Command History
Version 9.0.0.0 Introduced on the Z9000
Version 8.1.1.0 Introduced on the E-Series ExaScale.
Version 7.5.1.0 Introduced on the C-Series.
E-Series Original command.
Usage
Information
You can configure both IPv4 and IPv6 virtual addresses simultaneously, but only one of each.
Each time this command is issued, it replaces the previously configured address of the same
family, IPv4 or IPv6. The no virtual-ip command takes an address/prefix-length
argument, so that the desired address only is removed. If you enter the
no virtual-ip
command without any specified address, then both IPv4 and IPv6 virtual addresses are
removed.
