Set the time interval for the PVST+ bridge to maintain configuration information before refreshing that information.

Syntax
vlan vlan-range max-age seconds
To return to the default, use the no vlan max-age command.
Parameters
vlan vlan-range Enter the keyword vlan followed by the VLAN number(s). The range
is 1 to 4094.
max-age seconds Enter the keywords max-age followed by the time interval, in
seconds, that FTOS waits before refreshing configuration information.
The range is 6 to 40 seconds. The default is 20 seconds.
Defaults 20 seconds
