match interface
Configure a filter to match routes whose next hop is on the interface specified.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series
Syntax
match interface interface
To remove a match, use the no match interface interface command.
Parameters
interface
Enter the following keywords and slot/port or number information:
• For a Fast Ethernet interface, enter the keyword 
FastEthernet and then enter the slot/port information.
• For a Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword 
GigabitEthernet and then enter the slot/ port 
information.
• For the loopback interface, enter the keyword loopback 
and then enter a number from zero (0) to 16383.
• For a Port Channel interface, enter the keyword port-
channel and then enter a number. For the C-Series and S-
Series, the range is 1 to 128. For the E-Series, the range is 1 to 
255 for TeraScale and 1 to 512 for ExaScale.
• For a SONET interface, enter the keyword sonet and then 
enter the slot/port information.
• For a Ten Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword 
TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port 
information.
• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword 
fortyGigE and then enter the slot/port information.
• For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan and then enter a 
number from 1 to 4094 or 1 to 2094 for ExaScale (you can use 
IDs 1 to 4094).
