Usage
Information
Configure the ip domain-list command up to six times to configure a list of possible
domain names.
If you configure both the ip domain-name and ip domain-list commands, the
software tries to resolve the name using the ip domain-name command. If the name is not
resolved, the software goes through the list of names configured with the ip domain-list
command to find a match.
Use the following steps to enable dynamic resolution of hosts:
specify a domain name server with the ip name-server command
enable DNS with the ip domain-lookup command
To view current bindings, use the show hosts command. To view DNS related
configuration, use the show running-config resolve command.
