Information
Querier normally sends a certain number of group-specific queries when a leave message is
received for a group prior to deleting a group from the membership database. There may be
situations when you require immediate deletion of a group from the membership database. This
command provides a way to achieve the immediate deletion. In addition, this command
provides a way to enable immediate-leave processing for specified groups.
ip igmp last-member-query-interval
Change the last member query interval, which is the Max Response Time inserted into Group-Specific Queries sent in
response to Leave Group messages. This interval is also the interval between Group-Specific Query messages.

Syntax
ip igmp last-member-query-interval milliseconds
To return to the default value, use the no ip igmp last-member-query-interval
command.
Parameters
milliseconds
Enter the number of milliseconds as the interval. The range is 100 to
65535. The default is 1000 milliseconds.
Defaults 1000 milliseconds
