Information
This command is found on the Management interface only.
Related
Commands
interface ManagementEthernet – configures the Management port on the system (either the
Primary or Standby RPM).
duplex (10/100 Interfaces) – configures duplex mode on physical interfaces with the speed set
to 10/100.
management route – configures a static route that points to the Management interface or a
forwarding router.
stack-unit portmode
Split a single 40G port into 4-10G ports on the S4810 or Z9000.
S4810, Z-Series
Syntax
stack-unit stack-unit port number portmode quad
Parameters
stack-unit
Enter the stack member unit identifier of the stack member to reset.
For the S4810, the range is 0 to 11. For the Z9000, the range is 0 to 7.
number
Enter the port number of the 40G port to be split. For the S4810, enter
one of the following port numbers: 48, 52, 56, or 60. For the Z9000, the
range is 0 to 124 in multiples of 4 (0, 4, 8, 12, ... 120 124).
Defaults Disabled.

Usage
Information
Splitting a 40G port into 4x10G port is supported only on a standalone unit.
Split ports cannot be used as stack-link to stack an S4810.
Split ports S4810 unit cannot be a part of any stacked system.
