fordesignatedports)shouldreceiveconfigurationmessagesatregularintervals.Anyportthat
agesoutSTPinformationprovidedinthelastconfigurationmessage
becomesthedesignatedport
fortheattached LAN.Ifitisarootport,anewrootportisselectedfromamongthedeviceports
attachedtothenetwork.
