Logging in with Administratively Configured Account
Ifthedevice’sdefaultuseraccountsettingshavebeenchanged,proceedasfollows:
1. Attheloginprompt,enteryouradministrativelyassignedusernameandpressENTER.
2. AtthePasswordprompt,enteryourpasswordandpressENTER.

Using a Telnet Connection
OncetheMatrixSeriesdevicehasavalidIPaddress,youcanestablishaTelnetsessionfromany
TCP/IPbasednodeonthenetworkasfollows.
1. Telnettothedevice’sIPaddress.
2. Enterlogin(username)andpasswordinformationinoneofthefollowingways:
–Ifthedevice’sdefaultloginand
passwordsettingshavenotbeenchanged,followthe
stepslistedinLogginginwithaDefaultUserAccountonpage 27,or
–Enteranadministrativelyconfiguredusernameandpassword.
