Usethiscommandtosetthepriorityforwhicharouterwillbeelectedasthedesignatedrouter
(DR).

thehashfunctioniscalled.Allgroupswiththesameseed

correspondtothesameRendezvousPoint(RP).Thisoptionprovides
oneRPformultiplegroups.
Ahash‐mask‐lengthvalueof30willbeautomaticallyapplied.
priority (Optional)SpecifiesaBSRpriorityvaluerangingfrom0‐255.Higher
valuesassignhigherpriority.TheBSRwiththelargerpriorityis
preferred.
Ifpriorityvaluesarethesame,theIPaddressbreaksthetie.
TheBSRcandidatewiththehigherIPaddressispreferred.
priority Specifiesapriorityvaluefor designatedrouterselection.Validvalues
are0‐4294967294.Defaultis1.
