•Ifip‐addrisnotspecified,anentryintheSyslogservertablewillbecreatedwiththespecified
indexnumberandamessagewilldisplayindicatingthatnoIPaddresshasbeenassigned.
•Ifnotspecified,facility,severityandportwillbesettodefaultsconfiguredwiththeset
loggingdefaultcommand(“setloggingdefault”onpage 10‐6.).
•Ifstateisnotspecified,theserverwillnotbeenabledordisabled.
Mode
Switchcommand,Read‐Write.
Example
ThiscommandshowshowtoenableaSyslogserverconfigurationforindex1,IPaddress
134.141.89.113,facilitylocal4,severitylevel3onport514:
Matrix(rw)->set logging server 1 ip-addr 134.141.89.113 facility local4 severity
3 port 514 state enable
clear logging server
UsethiscommandtoremoveaserverfromtheSyslogservertable.
