Compensate image
To adjust the image subtraction filter
Refer to the image subtraction processing item.

When noise is extracted as difference / when defects cannot be extracted
When the measurement object is almost plain
When selecting multiple images for model registration fails.
Notes on Advanced Filter
If Advanced Filter is applied to the image, the area around the image frame will become unstable.
When a [Filtering] processing item has been set in the scene,
ensure that measurement ranges, etc. set for
other processing items are not included in the area around the image frame.
The width not included in the measurement range w
ill vary
depending on the mask size settings.
• Mask size: 5 × 5
Make settings so that a width around the image frame equal to 2 pixels is not included in the
measurement range.

Model image
When the size, or color (color / monochrome) of the filtered
images differs from that of the
model image, model registration will fail.
Verify the images to be used as the model.
Region setting
Adjust if model registration fails due to insufficient memory.
Make the region smaller to use less memory.
The Measurement region is set within the range
with 2-pixel width a part from borders in screen
(within the dotted line frame)
The 2-pixel area adjacent to the image frame
(the gray area) is not included in the
Measurement region.
