Inspecting and Measuring
Edge Pitch
Finds and counts the edges by measuring the color change within the measurement region.
Used in the Following Case
• When calculating number of pins of IC or connectors
• To calculate the pin width and the distance (pitch) between mid-point
s between two pins
• Processing is different for color images and monochrome images. If the camera type, color camera, or monochrome
camera, was changed from a previous setup, a reset of some settings may be needed.
