Hyphen Threshold

Set an upper and lower height limit as a percentage of the neighboring
character for recognition of characters as hyphens (-). Characters that fit
between the upper and lower limits of the [Hyphen Threshold] are
recognized as hyphens. Characters that are above the upper limit of the
“Hyphen Threshold” are recognized as apostrophes ('), and characters
that are below the lower limit of the “Hyphen Threshold” are recognized
as periods.*
