2.1 BPDU Tunneling Configuration Commands
2.1.1 bpdu-tunnel dot1q stp
Syntax
bpdu-tunnel dot1q stp
undo bpdu-tunnel dot1q stp

Parameters

Description
Use the bpdu-tunnel dot1q stp command to enable BPDU tunneling for STP on the
current port or ports.
Use the undo bpdu-tunnel dot1q stp command to disable BPDU tunneling for STP on
the port or ports.
By default, the BPDU tunneling for STP is disabled.
Configured in Ethernet port view, the setting is effective on the current port only;
configured in port group view, the setting is effective on all ports in the port group.
Before you can enable BPDU tunneling for STP on a port, you need to enable BPDU
tunneling and disable STP on the port.
Relative command: bpdu-tunnel dot1q enable.
Examples
# Enable BPDU tunneling for STP on Ethernet 2/0/1.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface ethernet 2/0/1
[Sysname-Ethernet2/0/1] stp disable
[Sysname-Ethernet2/0/1] bpdu-tunnel dot1q stp
# Enable BPDU tunneling for STP on all the ports of port group 1.
