Parameters
remotefile: File name.
Description
Use the delete command to delete a specified file on the remote FTP server.
To do this, you must be a user with the delete permission on the FTP server.
Examples
# Delete file temp.c.
[ftp]delete temp.c
250 DELE command successful.

dir [ remotefile [ localfile ] ]

remotefile: Name of the file or directory on the remote FTP server.
localfile: Name of the local file to save the displayed information.
Description
Use the dir command to view detailed information of the files and subdirectories under
the current directory on the remote FTP server.
Use the dir remotefile command to display the detailed information of the specified file
or directory on the remote FTP server.
Use the dir remotefile localfile command to display the detailed information of the
specified file or directory on the remote FTP server, and save the displayed information
into a local file specified by the localfile argument.
