Parameters
simple: Specifies the simple authentication mode.
md5: Specifies the MD5 ciphertext authentication mode.
Description
Use the authentication-mode command to specify an authentication mode for the
OSPF area.
Use the undo authentication-mode command to remove the authentication mode.
By default, no authentication mode is configured for an OSPF area.
Routers that reside in the same area must have the same authentication mode:
non-authentication, simple, or MD5.
Related commands: ospf authentication-mode.
