Parameters
ipv6-address: IPv6 link-local address. The high-order ten bits of an IPv6 link-local
address must be 1111111010 (binary), that is to say, the first group of the IPv6 link-local
address must range from FE80 to FEBF (hexadecimal).
Description
Use the ipv6 address link-local command to configure manually a link-local address
for an interface.
Use the undo ipv6 address link-local command to remove the link-local address of
an interface.
By default, a link-local address will automatically be generated when an IPv6 site-local
address or global unicast address is configured for an interface.
Examples
# Configure a link-local address on the interface VLAN-interface 100.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface vlan-interface 100
[Sysname-Vlan-interface100] ipv6 address fe80::1 link-local
