Pattern
The pattern contains the bits of the serial data to be found in the data stream. The
maximum length of the pattern is 128 bit. Touch and hold the "Pattern" field to open the
"Bit Pattern Editor" where you can enter the pattern in various formats.

In binary format, an X indicates that the logical level for the bit is not relevant (do not
care).

6.3.14 TV/Video trigger
Access: "Menu" > "Trigger" > "Setup" tab > "Type = TV"
The TV or video trigger is used to analyze analog baseband video signals. You can
trigger on baseband video signals from standard definition and high definition stand-
ards, and also on user defined signals.
The instrument triggers on the line start - the horizontal sync pulse. You can trigger on
all lines, or specify a line number
. You can also trigger on the field or frame start.
Also, a delay can be set: Set the "Holdoff events" in the "Mode / Holdoff" tab to the
number of fields to be skipped.

Make sure that the trigger level crosses the synchronizing pulses of the video signal,
see "Trigger level" on page 217.
